Mexican brands of shaving creams, razors and toothpaste are almost identical to American, including names. You will get much better prices on them in supermarkets than in Hotel Zone shops. Shampoos are erratic. Rather surprisingly, some of the more obscure brands are much better than the familiar well-advertised names. The best place to buy shampoo is the pharmacy.
