FishFresh fish is surprisingly hard to find in Cancun. You will have to be quite observant to select the fresh catch from the old. Many varieties of good frozen shrimp are available. Check frozen shrimp carefully for signs of age -- black stains along tails. When eating in restaurants, always ask for the catch of the day. Most fish served in the Hotel Zone is frozen.
